Favorite Projects On this page you can find some photos and notes about a few of our favorite projects. We count it a great privilege to have worked with these folks, and to have them as our life long friends. The Schaefer Residence - A Custom MillCrafted Dovetailed Log Project. On our web page named In The Woods, we have featured a story about Anna and Larry Nelson's "log home story", and some photos of their new handcrafted log home, and the new handcrafted log home of Larry' mother, Mrs. Williams. These homes were built simultaneously and nearby to each other in Arkansas, an enormous undertaking for anyone. One interesting aspect is that this couple quarried natural Arkansas sandstone and flagstone from their own property, tastefully combining these rich stone elements into both homes. True masonry fireplaces, stoned support columns, patios, walled areas and more all display consistent quality and craftsmanship throughout. Although the both homes are completed and occupied now, extensive exterior landscaping and "hardscaping" design is still in development, with installations projected for 2008. We are certain that all of these future additions will perfectly compliment the extraordinary effort this family has already delivered. This couple also offers a complete line of natural stone products from their stone quarries and retail center in Arkansas.
